International partnerships create opportunities for research, collaboration, and learning on a global scale. They can also help to form personal and institutional relationships that enrich and invigorate academic life. BSU has recently developed a new partnership proposal and review platform to help faculty and staff create and foster successful international partnerships. This roundtable discusses the basics of initiating, planning, developing, administering, and assessing international partnerships. The panel will cover topics related to leading a partnership including differentiating between the various kinds of international partnerships, identifying good candidates for partnerships, the process for proposing a new partnership, common planning concerns, budgeting, and faculty/staff experiences.
