Description

In this session, I will present an overview of the ways you or your department can effectively use Twitter to expand your outreach. I will cover how to get your Twitter account started; offer tips and tricks for building your numbers of real followers (without paying); and recommend a variety of protocols for handling situations that can arise. I will also provide an overview of the Twitter accounts currently being used by BSU offices and departments, and discuss the benefits of using Twitter as your primary social media tool in an academic setting.
