Description
Since 2014, macro social workers, academics, students, nonprofits, community service organizations, political advocacy groups, national social work organizations and others have connected, participated in conversation, and shared resources in over 40 #MacroSW Twitter chats. Using publicly available tweets as a data source, a stratified random sample of twitter chats were selected for qualitative evaluation. The research questions that guided this study were: 1. What is macro social work practice? 2. What are the strengths? 3. What are needs, challenges, and limitations?
