Location

End Time

Description

Trust is a foundational principle for leadership effectiveness and organizational well-being, and is taking on added importance as organizations of all types continue to shift toward a more participative and less autocratic decision-making and management approach. Unfortunately, research indicates that trust in organizations and the people that lead them continues to erode.

In this presentation, Drs. Harris and Gimbel address the following issues. First, how is trust defined? Second, why is trust important? Third, why is trust declining? Last, what specific behaviors can leaders practice to promote trust in themselves and across the organizations that they lead?
