Description
I use mathematics to predict and describe the propagation of chemical reactions such as combustion. My research involves: 1) mathematical modeling; 2) qualitative analysis; and 3) numerical computations. I will give an overview of each of these three aspects of study. In addition, I will discuss the relationship between my work and the curriculum I teach.
