Description
Please join Dr. Jody Weber as she discusses the creative process in relationship to her latest work, Ley Lines. The discussion will include how a variety of ideas are threaded together in movement then further developed into phrase material. Weber will discuss the process of creating when the creator is dependent on the physicality of participating dancers and the importance of the rehearsal process. Footage from rehearsals and performances will be interspersed with discussion of text development, music selection, and how this particular piece engaged members of the community at large.
