BSC prides itself as a leader for academic-based information technology (IT) innovation. We require notebook PCs for all of incoming students and we‟re among the leaders (#6 actually) on Intel‟s list for the “most unwired” schools. What could be next? Is it the Tablet PC? We‟ll use this CART forum to step up the conversation on the pro‟s and con‟s of the tablet as well as some of the bigger questions including – as innovators, should we now require that incoming students get a tablet notebook instead of just a notebook PC?
