TESOL faculty conducted document analysis of lesson plans created in Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) classes. Specifically, they identified and analyzed common challenges in language objectives from pre-service and in-service teachers’ lesson plans. They also provided recommendations for teachers of ELLs to construct effective language objectives and lesson activities.
