Description
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an approach to teaching and learning that helps us to meet all of our students’ needs. We know that our students learn in a myriad of ways--what can we do as faculty to make learning more accessible and further support students’ success in our courses?
This past year, a new Faculty Learning Community (FLC) on UDL was kicked off through a cross-divisional collaboration between Academic Affairs, Student Success and Diversity, and Information Technology. We look to extend our FLC to you, CARS Celebration attendees, as we think together about what universal design can look like in higher education in both face-to-face and online courses, engage in collaborative dialogue and discussion focused on supporting student success by infusing UDL into your courses, and share UDL resources and best practices with you to support teaching and learning.
