Description

CARS research forums and colloquia held throughout the academic year provide an opportunity for faculty from different departments and colleges across the university to share their scholarly work with our community. Continuing in that tradition, this May Celebration panel will follow a theme of “Student Success in Language Learning: Policies and Practices across Disciplines.” We will explore how language learning is envisioned in special education, computer science, and foreign languages. What are the best practices and policies that impact student success? The following faculty members will speak on their own research and we will draw linkages across disciplines to explore the theme.
