This panel presentation will focus on the efficacy of interdisciplinary education at the graduate level, specifically at Bridgewater State University. The presentation will begin with a question posed to the audience regarding rationale, rewards, and challenges for including interdisciplinary courses in BSU’s graduate curriculum. Next, undergraduate interdisciplinary efforts will be presented, along with a literature base regarding interdisciplinary learning. Third, current graduate interdisciplinary course endeavors at Bridgewater State University will be shared and discussed. Finally, a conversation between the panelists and the audience will ensue to discuss audience members’ involvement with interdisciplinary learning as well as a discussion of feasible next steps in promoting graduate interdisciplinary learning at Bridgewater State University.
