Description
Supporting the research, writing and scholarship needs of our linguistically and culturally diverse faculty members and librarians is an important component of a commitment to institutional diversity. Earlier in the semester, CARS, the Office of Institutional Diversity, and the Minnock Center for International Engagement sponsored an initial conversation wherein we began to explore the resources, assets and needs of our faculty and librarians in their pursuit of and interests in linguistically and culturally diverse writing, research and scholarship. This session will be a continuation of that conversation and an examination of concrete actions that we can take to support our colleagues and each other in our scholarly endeavors. It will be a brainstorming session and open discussion, and will hopefully result in action steps that we can begin to implement.
