Social media plays a significant role in how students communicate and develop social communities. College students experiencing grief and loss may be afraid to turn to traditional forms of help and instead use social media to express what can be called “cybergrieving.” Through Facebook and Twitter, people are expressing their grief using technology. This presentation will provide tools to assist students in expressing grief using social media in ways that inspire communities of well-being.
