Description
The first phase of construction for the new science and math center is scheduled for completion in 2011. This panel will comprise faculty from the science and math departments who will discuss design features that will make the science and math center a “green” building, and how the building design may transform and enable engaged teaching and learning for majors, non-majors, and K-12 students and teachers. BSC students and the regional community alike will engage in learning through design elements such as the: rain garden, green roof, use of renewable energy, chilled beam technology, geothermal heating/cooling, and more.
