This roundtable would allow participants to share their goals for the continued development of a gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) studies curriculum at BSC. The participants all presently teach GLBT-themed courses and/or include significant course content related to GLBT issues, and the collective enterprise of this roundtable would be to elaborate a vision for future growth of GLBT curricula. The panelists seek to serve not only the GLBT-identified student population, but also the student population in general; we anticipate an audience of educators who want to learn how to include GLBT content in their own courses and why GLBT studies matters for our students and for the BSC community at large. We therefore ask: How can GLBT Studies contribute to diversity across the curriculum? How can it provide our students with uniquely valuable course content? How might various campus departments be enriched by the inclusion of GLBT studies?
