Abstract
Prior to the turn of the century, digital communications may have played a secondary role in peer aggression, but in 2015, digital technology—such as text messaging, social networking, digital pictures, etc.—has become the primary method of communication between youth. This article surveys the current state of digital communications among youth—both positive interactions and negative ones—citing the best current research studies on the use of digital technology in sexual harassment, cyberbullying, and stalking, and coerced sexting.
