Description
The Center for Sustainability at Bridgewater State College fosters the study and application of sustainable practices both on campus and throughout the region. The Center views a sustainable society as economically vibrant, environmentally sound, and socially just, now and into the future. The primary goals for 2006-07 included: (1) developing an administrative infrastructure including the establishment of an advisory board, (2) establishing credibility for the Center and STEM Sustainability Initiative, (3) conducting an inventory of sustainability initiatives at BSC, and (4) supporting faculty, librarian, and student projects that will help expand and strengthen the Center's mission. This poster will summarize the key outcomes of all activities for the Center in 2006-07, as they describe our future goals and new initiatives.
