Author Biography

Dr. Avishek Deb is an Assistant Professor at the Department of English, GITAM University in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He completed his PhD at the Department of English, Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. His research topic is “Ideology as Dramatic Action: A Select Study of Habib Tanvir, Badal Sircar and Utpal Dutt.” Among his research interests are modern Indian theater, Performance Studies, and Film Studies.

Dr. Pinak Sankar Bhattacharya is an Assistant Professor at the Department of English of Baneswar Sarathibala Mahavidyalaya (affiliated to Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University) in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. He completed his PhD at the Department of English, Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. His research topic is “Relocating The Mahabharata in Modern Indian English Drama.” Among his research interests are Film Studies and world theater.
