Author Biography
Olimpiada Usanova is a lawyer and Russian human rights activist. She holds a Ph.D. in Law and has more than 15 years of experience working as an Assistant Professor at the Universities of Russia. She is a former Galina Starovoitova Fellow on Human Rights and Conflict Resolution at the Kennan Institute of Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Washington DC, US. Olimpiada Usanova is a certified tutor for Human Rights Education for the Legal Professional Programs of the Council of Europe, specializing in violence against women and domestic violence.
