Author Biography
William A. Tringali is a graduate student in the school of Library and Information Sciences at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. His research interests include masculinity, femininity, and queerness as they are conveyed within media, horror as a representation of socio-cultural/historical anxieties surrounding gender and sexuality, and the figure of the vampire in British and American popular culture. He has been published in the Journal of International Women’s Studies, and presented scholarly work at both national and international academic conferences, including the American Culture Association and Popular Culture Association’s nation conference, and the Caribbean Studies Association’s international conference.
