The Office of Assessment promotes excellence in student learning outcomes for all Bridgewater State University academic programs by:
- Linking assessment to teaching and learning practices that promote student success.
- Supporting student learning assessment required for academic program review, the core curriculum, and the University’s strategic planning efforts.
- Translating high quality teaching and learning experiences occurring in academic programs into rich sources of both qualitative and quantitative data for continuous improvement.
- Providing faculty professional development and scholarship opportunities related to academic assessment.
