Google Apps contains many facets and resources that can be used as a pedagogical tool for teaching and learning. Through this workshop, attendees will gain a better understanding of the Google Apps for Higher Education and how they can be utilized inside and outside of the classroom with particular attention to supporting online group engagement through synchronous and asynchronous presentations and projects. Attendees will also see through specific examples how faculty at North Shore Community College use Google Apps with their students as well as be exposed to the various tools relevant for such work including Google Docs, Google Presentations, Google Hangout, and Blogger.
