One of the most common concerns about laptops in the classroom is that students are distracted by text messaging, Web surfing, email, games and other uses not necessarily related to the class. How much are the students really distracted? Do these distractions outweigh the benefits of laptop use? This workshop will explore these issues, as well as strategies to keep students on task without turning off the technology.
