Description
A major trend in higher education has been the introduction of performance-based measures to assess student learning outcomes. The electronic portfolio (also known as e-Portfolio and webfolio) has proven to be an effective platform to accomplish this, and is being adopted at the course, program, and institutional levels in colleges and universities nationwide. At BSC, we are currently piloting an electronic portfolio platform called ‘ePortfolio.org’. Students are quickly adopting this technology into their course requirements, allowing their faculty members to monitor their progress electronically. Please join this session to learn more about the use of electronic portfolios through an online demonstration and a discussion with some of those who have started to use this solution.
