Description
This workshop provides a place for faculty to consider "best practices" in terms of advising that extend beyond pre-registration. After contextualizing advising vis-a-vis the FAC and Project Compass, participants will engage in breakout sessions designed to facilitate greater campus dialogue regarding how we advise our students. Information on advising resources, as well as making advising count towards reappointment and promotion, will be provided.
