There are thousands of fonts designed for print, but only a handful designed for the screen. The digital age has created a need for font designers to address different optical factors that are just beginning to be defined.

This lecture will focus on the design process, visual research, and conclusions of a font designed and optimized for screen media. The lecture will provide a historical context on the evolution of typography in relation to media, process insights, micro details, discovered criteria and a presentation of the font.
