Note on the Author
Olivia Timberlake graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2025 with a major in political science and a minor in philosophy. Her research was completed in the summer of 2024 under the mentorship of Dr. Jordon Barkalow (Department of Political Science) and was made possible with funding provided by the Adrian Tinsley Program summer research grant. Olivia presented the entirety of her research at the Annual Midwest Political Science Association in Chicago in April 2025. She plans to attend law school in the Fall of 2025 and pursue her dream of becoming an attorney.
