Note on the Author

Jevaughn Barnett is a 2025 graduate of Bridgewater State University (BSU) with three years’ experience in a psychology research laboratory. He majored in psychology and minored in biology. His research focuses on rhythm and audiovisual entrainment, exploring how humans use visual cues to plan eye movements and how well they direct attention using gamification. This work contributes to our understanding of how humans learn as we head towards the future. Jevaughn has presented findings at University Symposia and the Society for Music Perception and Cognition (SMPC) 2024 conference in Canada, aiming to impact the field as they learn.
