Abstract/Description

Animal experimentation, also called vivisection, has been a controversial conversation topic in both the scientific world and the animal rights activism world. While one of the main arguments regarding animal experimentation is whether or not animals have the right to bodily autonomy, a lesser discussed topic within the realm of animal experimentation is what it reveals about humans. From Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution to current scientists expanding knowledge about animal bodies, the line separating humans and animals has been blurred.
