Note on the Author

Nicholas Eric Huard is a senior and Departmental Honors student, majoring in English Literature. Nicholas wrote his thesis under the mentorship of Dr. Ben Carson, Professor of English at Bridgewater State University. Nicholas grew up in Wareham, Massachusetts, and currently resides in New Bedford. Nicholas has always enjoyed reading and writing poetry. He also enjoys teaching poetry writing workshops to young and old alike. After graduation in 2024, Nicholas plans to continue working as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher for Westport Community Schools.
