Author Biography
Hiruni Jayaratne is a Strategic Consultant to the Strategic Communication Unit, LKI, Sri Lanka. Also she is a Journalist and a researcher in Conflicts and Human Rights specializing Women and Girls Rights. Graduated in BA(SP) in International studies, second class upper division, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. She has authored many commentaries and articles based on Women and Child rights in local newspapers (Daily Mirror, Sunday Observer, Daily Ft,) and Websites(Colombo Telegraph).She also an award winner and active member of International Model United Nations.
