Candice Smith Corby
Wallace L. Anderson Gallery, Bridgewater State College
The new works by Candice Smith Corby deal with the conflicting feelings between domestic celebration and potential domestic entrapment and disillusionment. The artist uses household objects to represent the strength and endurance needed to balance the weight of being a caregiver. The detail and beauty in the execution illustrates the love tied to the portrayed people and objects.
