Summary
Patrick F. Ryan, Navy, (Amphibious Force),Gunner’s mate, third class USNR, USS Clay PA 39, USS Knox PA 46.
Ryan’s job was the invasion force, taking the Army & Navy troops into the beaches. Involved in Philippine liberation invasion of Leyte & Luzon Asiatic Pacific invasions of Saipan, Tinian, Yap and Iwo Jima.
