Note on the Author
Matthew J. Luz is a third-year graduate student in the Department of Counselor Education, Bridgewater State University. He anticipates completing the LMHC program in December 2021. He currently serves as the department’s Graduate Writing Fellow (GWF). He works in the mental health field in a special disorders unit with adolescents diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive behaviors. He also works in an inpatient unit. He hopes to work with pre-adolescents and adolescents in a clinical-based setting as a mental health counselor once he completes his practicum, internship, and obtains his master’s degree.
