Note on the Author

Eoghain Hamilton is a graduate student at Bridgewater State University. His research interests include Mayan archaeology, folklore, and religious practice. This research project was completed in the spring 2020 under the mentorship of Dr. Diana Fox. Eoghain plans to continue to pursue research in Central America regarding the folklore of the Maya and complete a M.A. in Applied Anthropology in the spring of 2021.
