Note on the Author

Korie Clegg and Adriana Thetonia are both entering their final year of their Master of Social Work program from Bridgewater State University, graduating in the spring of 2020. Adriana has worked for the Department of Children and Families (DCF) for three years and plans to continue serving youth and families with the DCF upon graduation. Korie plans to pursue a career as a school social worker to foster equitable education opportunities for youth of color. This research was completed in fall 2019 under the mentorship of Dr. Kathleen Bailey.
