New Century changes have impacted every facet of society: business, finance, medicine, communication, etc. Education is also evolving. Its monochrome arena is beginning to embrace colorful yet powerful web 2.0 learning tools and interactive online communications. Armed with these tools, teachers have an opportunity to provide authentic learning experiences creating engaging, relevant and personalized knowledge that meets the needs of all, as they develop skills necessary for a ‘flat’ world. New education environments place secondary students at the center, empowering them to take control of their learning. This transformation has its challenges, however the ultimate rewards are worth those struggles. This is a time of revolutionary change in education. Are you ready to be part of this change?
During this session, we will share strategies in how we are retraining k-12 faculty through BSU courses and share the 3 basic cloud entry points that build understanding and skill. We’ll address elements of pedagogy and how lecture is becoming an active participatory event. Come join us as we cycle through the clouds to a globally connected education environment!
