Bridging Cultures is a low budget, short documentary film produced and compiled by Jabbar Al-Obaidi in cooperation with Greg Seibert, a part-time faculty member of the Communication Studies Department as well as the owner and CEO of Purple Turtle Productions, Inc. The film involved four students from Bridgewater State University who traveled to Jordan with Al-Obaidi. The Office of Undergraduate Research funded their trip in 2010. Bridging Cultures is the culmination of many long hours of work by and dedication of its producers, the four U.S. students, and the kind support of the Jordanian people. This educational project intends to provide yet another venue for an ongoing presentation series devoted to promoting cultural awareness and understanding about Jordan, the Middle East, and the United States.
