Description

As Phase I of the new science and math center (SMC) nears completion, the BSU and regional community will be introduced to a valuable outreach asset. The SMC will host a wide variety of classrooms and conference rooms, an auditorium, new greenhouse, observatory, discovery labs and hands-on science equipment, allowing faculty, staff and students from all disciplines to learn more about science and math topics in an interactive way. This presentation will formally introduce the BSU community to the teaching, outreach, and community spaces in the SMC, and start a dialogue about how we can all best use these new facilities for including more science and math topics in our courses. The new café rounds out the creation of a new collaborative space for the campus community to interact around science and math.
