Description
This brief overview of the BSU IRB and federal regulations will demystify the application and review processes and help you see how easy it is to comply with policies and procedures. Participate in a hands-on discussion of how to complete the new IRB forms. Bring your questions regarding the consent process, taped interviews, children and other special populations, debriefing, etc. If you may apply for an internal or external grant, do research at BSU, collaborate with another institution, examine an archival data set, or have your class complete a research assignment, you are likely to be interacting with the IRB. Attend this workshop to ensure that your project speeds through IRB review!
