Description

Faculty- and librarian-led discussions of sustainability in CART Celebrations VII and VIII have led to the formation of the BSC Sustainability Center. The spring 2006 semester was spent identifying external constituencies and planning for the formal launch of the Center in the fall. This panel discussion will begin with a brief report on the planning process and then focus on sustainable food, which will be one key area of the Center‟s work. The panel includes local experts involved in organic farming, food marketing, and sustainable dining.
