Derek Pazolt is currently enrolled at Bridgewater State University in the School of Social Work’s graduate program. This paper was completed in May 2019 under the mentorship of Dr. Karen Fein. Derek’s career ambitions include offering gender-affirming therapy for members of the transgender community as well as advocacy in pursuit of social justice.
