Description

Few educators have time to spend learning how to use new technology, only to see it fall into disuse a year or two later. But, even with the most innovative technology, history repeats itself, making it possible to forecast which innovations are most likely to “stick”. In this workshop, learn the common characteristics of technologies that have come into widespread use, and how you can use that information to spend your technology time and dollars wisely. We will also discuss how to know when a technology has moved beyond the “fad” stage and is here to stay. Come take a fun look back in time that will help to inform your future decisions around technology use in both your professional and personal life.
