Luscious Pate de Verre
I have registered to participate in the workshop Luscious Pate de Verre with Alicia Lomne from March 30th to April 3rd, 2011. Pate de Verre is a glass casting technique that was popular in the French Art Nouveau movement. The technique allows for subtle transitions in color and translucency of glass objects. I am applying for this grant to support my registration fees, travel fees, and meal costs associated with the workshop.
