Description
DegreeWorks (DW) is a web-based degree audit and educational planning tool that enables students to track and monitor their progress toward degree completion. Funding from a Massachusetts Vision Project was used to purchase DW for Bridgewater State University. DW will become a comprehensive plan that students will revisit each semester and update as their goals and academic and career plans change. Faculty and administrators can use DW to help inform decisions on course planning, and guide students as they develop a plan for timely degree completion. This poster session will showcase the features of DW that advisors will use to support a holistic form of academic advising. DW will be launched at Bridgewater June 2015. Faculty who visit this session will get a preview of this new tool.
