Description

This poster will address innovative uses of iPads as challenging and productive tools to help students meet course learning objectives in physical education core courses in MAHPLS. Reviewing and potentially revising learning objectives for core courses in physical education is the first step. After deciding which learning objectives and verbs fit the course level and directives, think about the teaching-learning activities that would give students practice in reaching the course objectives. Fink's (2002) worksheet for designing a course is extremely helpful in mapping out the course. The Padagogy Wheel V2.0 found on http://www.unity.net.au/allansportfolio/edublog/?p=324 is a superior resource as a way to begin to see how applications can be used as progressive tools for teaching-learning activities. This poster will debut a new padagogy wheel to be used in physical education core courses at the university level.
