Description

The Intellectual Property Rights Advisory Group is charged with reviewing copyright policies that affect BSC, and periodically offering seminars such as this to help disseminate intellectual property rights information that has an impact on the educational environment. This is becoming especially important as faculty and staff make more and more use of the digital environment – the internet, online classes, "e-reserves," and more. This presentation takes a look at a 2008 TechRepublic article by Debra Littlejohn Shinder that covers 10 fundamental issues of computer use and copyright law. IPR will be posting this on the IPR website (linked on the library homepage) and will expand on it in the future.
