Description

A year-long cross-disciplinary, collaborative initiative, the new Assessment Guidebook is, quite literally, a resource developed by faculty for faculty. It was designed to assist faculty in using assessment and reflection to come to a deeper understanding of learning and teaching. Drawing heavily on their own experiences and beliefs about assessment, the panel will show how this web-guide was developed and how it can guide some interesting and thoughtful processes in asking questions and finding answers relative to student learning, teaching effectiveness, advising strategies, or program outcomes. The panel will ask for audience participation and feedback as they prepare to revise and edit a final version for publication on the BSC website.
