Description

This session is proposed to discuss current issues in campus and school safety, including research at MARC, current online trends which affect campus safety, and trends seen in both K-12 and higher education. Problems such as bullying, cyber bullying and other violence and threats will be discussed. In addition to MARC’s research, current research conducted by Dr. Englander with the Board of Higher Education will be discussed, as will the anti-violence approach and programs conducted by the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center in K-12 schools around the Commonwealth.
