Description

Many faculty have navigated through their professional responsibilities to achieve a sense of balance and success at Bridgewater State College. Some of these faculty, who are contributing to the newly formed Faculty Advocacy Network (FAN), welcome you to a roundtable discussion of adjusting to faculty life. Questions for consideration include: 1) are there any secrets to surviving your first year? 2) what changes, if anything, after tenure and/or promotion? 3) what are your greatest frustrations in trying to balance your role in academia with your role outside academia, and what strategies (successful or not) have you tried to decrease this source of frustration?
